I am an American yoga teacher living in the Austrian Alps. I have been teaching yoga since 2013 and a student of yoga for more than 20 years. The need for finding more balance in my life and looking for something to take care of my physical body, brought me to the mat so many years ago. Yoga and Buddhism have taught me how to live more consciously. I try to bring meaning into my classes, that gives our practice purpose and soul. Yoga is not just a physical practice. It is the body, mind and soul connected at once.  Through my work, I want to show people how to live more mindfully. Our yoga practice is a great place to start to live more consciously.

To accomplish great things, we most dream as well as act. I believe that if we want to see the world in a better place, we have to start with ourselves. Start inwards and work out from there. Over the years of being a teacher I have continued to grow in my passion for learning more about healing through action. I have done special training in Yin yoga, restorative yoga, Ayurveda, pre & post natal yoga, meditation and am a certified massage therapist. I keep learning and growing as a student and teacher on and off the mat. Once we think we have learned it all, we stop growing.

I want people to leave class with a smile on their face and a lightness in their step. We take life too seriously sometimes. We should look at our practice as a time to let go and let loose. Laughter is also healing!
